Sintra, the Moon Hill, is a place full of magic and mystery, where Nature and Man have combined in such a perfect symbiosis that UNESCO has granted it Word Heritage Site status.In the 19th century Sintra became the first centre of European Romantic architecture. Ferdinand II turned a ruined monastery into a castle where this new sensitivity was displayed in the use of Gothic, Egyptian, Moorish and Renaissance elements and in the creation of a park blending local and exotic species of trees. Other fine dwellings, built along the same lines in the surrounding serra , created a unique combination of parks and gardens which influenced the development of landscape architecture throughout Europe.

Center of Sintra

Then we go to the historical center of Sintra where you can see the beautiful old streets and take pictures of the National Palace of SintraWe cannot miss the famous Arraiolos carpets. The Arraiolos carpets are wool rugs embroidered with the stitch with the same name, on a jute cloth, cotton or linen, knowledge passed from generation to generation.

Quinta da Regaleira

We will continue to Quinta da Regaleira, a very romantic Manour. This great house was the result of myth-magical dream of its owner, Antonio Augusto Carvalho Monteiro (1848-1920).

Pena Palace

Then we’ll continue to Pena Palace, the most extravagant palace built on a rock at 500m Altitude dominating the whole coast to Lisbon.This bulding is a mixture of Moorish and Manueline, architecture.

Cabo da Roca

Then we go to visit the Cabo da Roca, “where the land ends and sea begins”. Mastering the turbulent waters to 140m high they hit loudly against the rocks. It offers a beautiful view of the wild coastline.

Boca do Inferno

Passing through the Boca do Inferno (mouth of hell). Steep cliff on the cliffs where the waves hit. Enjoy the sound of the roar of the waves reminding the devil's voice.

Marginal Lisboa - Cascais

Return to Lisbon for the account along the coast, passing by Estoril until Lisbon, admiring the beautiful coast and it’s beaches

The Tours schedule and routes are Flexible. The most important thing is we provide we a wonderful day and and respond to the wishes of tourists

Prices Monuments Fees are not included in the Tour value so that the tourists can decide whether or not they would like to visit some of the monuments.

It´s a free Tour for Children up to 2 years. Children from 3 to 6 years pay 50%

Is scheduled time for the visit to the interior of Queluz Palace and Pena Palace. On the other monuments we stop for photos.

In order not to harm the Tour program we give you the necessary and sufficient time to have a quiet visit to the interior of Monuments.

The Time Management to visit the Monuments, Stop for photos and lunch time is made by the guide which will take into account the Tour Programme and the interest expressed by tourists.

We have no deal with restaurants. We only recommend the restaurant where you can have lunch. The Choice is Yours
